When a trembling elderly man came into Kelley Square Pizza before closing time in Worcester, Massachusetts, his request for food that would be thrown away was met with kindness as the restaurant’s manager insisted that he get a freshly-made meal, free of charge.
Mike Alexander, a mechanic in Worcester, was waiting for his pizza to be ready when he noticed an older man enter the pizza shop. The elderly man’s hands were trembling, he leaned on a cane, and he was wearing two coats.
“I’m at Kelley square pizza waiting for my pizza to cook,” Mike wrote, “and this little crippled old guy comes in. He’s leaning on this makeshift cane and wearing two coats. His hands are trembling and he’s wondering who is managing.” Read the full story here ▶
