School Officer Makes Eye Contact With Teen And Gets Hold Of Her Right Before It’s Too Late

Officers are often known for their quick thinking and the many ways that they put their lives at risk to save others. When you’re responsible for protecting others, a situation can turn negative in a short time.

In 2018, officer Roger Caron was patrolling the halls of Pascack Hills High School in Montvale, New Jersey when he noticed a student, Sarah Bazzini, wandering through quickly and seemingly in trouble. He stopped to see what was wrong, and as it turned out, Sarah had a piece of food stuck in her throat and needed help. Officer Caron performed the Heimlich maneuver and ended up saving Sarah’s life.

Officer Roger Caron works security at Pascack Hills High School. He protects the students who enter the building as well as the teachers, monitoring the exterior and interior of the school for any signs of danger. Officer Caron also jumps in to help when students need assistance.
