Paralyzed Bride ‘Steps’ Through The Door, Shocked Guests Burst Into Tears

A wedding is supposed to be the most special, precious and important day of their lives. However for one bride, the thought of walking down the aisle was so scary to her that it was unbearable to even fathom.

This is when she chose to take things into her own hands, agreed to the challenges of physical therapy and remained strong. None of the guests could’ve imagined that she would come so far in such a short period of time!

The brave bride in the video below is a woman named Jennifer Darmon. She was on a mission to make sure she could walk down the aisle at her wedding.

Unfortunately, Jennifer was involved in an accident that left her pinned in a van fighting for her life. After Jennifer was freed from the van and rushed to the hospital, doctors discovered that she suffered a spinal cord injury and was paralyzed from the waist down.

They broke the news to Jennifer, but they weren’t expecting her to have such a strong response. She came to terms with the diagnosis – but she refused to give up on the idea of walking down the aisle to join her future husband.

Jennifer went through grueling physical therapy sessions several times a week. She even told her future husband, Mike Belawetz, that he didn’t have to stay with her if the thought of it was too much.

But Mike refused to give up on his bride-to-be. He encouraged her after each surgery, therapy session and hard day.

So when it came time to go down the aisle, Jennifer was ready to walk forward to the love of her life. She stunned not only her beloved husband-to-be, but all of their wedding guests, too.
