According to the court documents, the 32-year-old defendant, Lindsay, killed her 3 children after she sent her husband Patrick to go out for a time-consuming errand.
The woman then tried to take her own life by jumping out of a window. She was indicted on 3 charges each of murder and strangulation in the asphyxiation deaths of 3-year-old Dawson, 8-month-old Callan and 5-year-old Cora.
Prosecutors also said the woman asked her husband to go out for a time-consuming errand that she knew would give her enough time to kill her children in the basement of her home before jumping out of a window to take her own life. Read the full story here ▶
