Police officials said the mother, later identified as Clarisa, was arrested and later charged with injury to a child after she reportedly severely injured her newborn baby by shaking her several times before she slammed the 2-month-old baby onto the changing table.
Per reports, the mother then didn’t called for help or seek medical attention for her baby for several hours, but instead searched on the internet about her baby’s symptoms.
The unfortunate incident occurred on November 15, 2023, but Clarisa was taken into custody on Wednesday. Per reports, CPS employee called the authorities about a newborn baby who was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. Read the full story here ▶
