Harry, 18-months, Riley, 2, and their mom, Amy Allen went over to a friend’s house in July 2016 in the UK. Harry was crying “too much” according to Amy’s friend Emma Horseman. Emma told her partner to shoot Harry.
Emma claims she told her fiance just to scare Harry to get him to stop crying. Sadly, Harry was shot in the head by Jordan Walters.
According to reports, Walters thought the weapon, an air rifle, wasn’t loaded and didn’t even hesitate to aim it at the young boy and pull the trigger.
Even though there were a total of four children in the house at the time of the shooting, the Walters decided that would be a good time to have the gun out and to clean it – which is why it was so easy to grab the gun when Harry started to cry.
After being shot Harry was rushed to Bristol Royal Infirmary. As a result of his injuries, Harry was left with permanent injuries, he his blind in one eye and has several post-traumatic seizures every day.
Walters pleaded guilty to GBH (grievous bodily harm), but Horseman denied those charges. Her trial lasted two days, it took the jury only 40 minutes to make their decision, she was acquitted of all charges. That is a shocking result.
You have to wonder if Emma hadn’t told Walters to shoot at the baby, would he? Emma seemed to be the only one who was bothered by Harry’s wails. Share away, people.
