Meg Ryan choked up as she asked celebrity chef José Andrés to share the profits from his cookbook, “We Feed People,” with her charity, the World Central Kitchen.
Ryan, who is a longtime supporter of the World Central Kitchen, said she was “humbled” by Andrés’ work and wanted to help him continue his mission of providing food relief to people in need.
“I’m here today to ask you to share the profits from your cookbook with the World Central Kitchen,” Ryan said. “I know you’ve already donated a portion of the proceeds, but I believe that if we all come together, we can make a real difference.” Read the full story here ▶
