Husband Verbally Abuses Wife in Public but Pay Attention to the Man in Blue

According to recent statistics from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), there are approximately 10 million adults in the U.S. who experience domestic violence annually. The NCADV reports that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence, intimate partner contact sexual violence, and/or intimate partner stalking.

Separately, a 2011 CDC nationwide survey found that over 12 million women and men had experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in the previous year. They also found over 15% of all violent crime involves domestic violence. Read the full story here ▶
