Prosecutors said the 27-year-old defendant, Blanc, confessed that he murdered his 20-year-old pregnant wife because she disrespected him and then shot her 68-year-old father from behind because he was not able to look into his eyes.
Blanc was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for murdering his pregnant wife Martine and her father Roosevelt.
According to the court documents, the victim was six months pregnant when she died. The defendant also admitted that he knew his wife was having a baby. The 68-year-old victim was found dead and burned near the family home. Read the full story here ▶
