Getting older can be a enlightening and blessed time but for some it can be a depressing and lonely time. For one elderly woman learned this the hard way after she was left all alone at her local hospital.
Ashley Cherry was inside the waiting room of the Fort Campbell, Kentucky hospital when she saw something that she would remember for the rest of her life. Ashley was in the same ER where the woman seemed sad and loney, perched in a wheelchair.
The elderly lady had been wheeled out to the emergency room waiting area because she had been discharged. But she confessed to the receptionist that she didn’t have any family to come pick her up and take her home. Read the full story here ▶
