A South Florida man who sexually abused a woman in home confinement under custody is headed to prison.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida, Benito Montes de Oca Cruz, 60, of Miami-Dade County, pleaded guilty to charges of sexual abuse of a woman who was serving a 51-month sentence.
Court documents state that Cruz was a site supervisor for Riverside House, which conducts home visits to inmates being held to home confinement. Read the full story here ▶
