Protesters with balloons and banners marched through Lincoln over plans to close the only walk-in centre in the county.
NHS Lincolnshire West Clinical Commissioning Group is considering shutting the service in Monks Road which it says costs £1m a year to run. The final decision on the future of the service will be made at a governing body meeting on Wednesday September 27.
UNISON organised the rally which gathered in Castle Square on Saturday, September 23. After the protestors marched down hill through shoppers into the city centre, they re-assembled in the High Street to listen to various speakers opposing NHS cuts.
