Five minutes of childhood
Frans Hofmeester is a Dutch artist and father of a little girl named Lotte. He gets a bit scared sometimes when he notices how quickly time flies by and this feeling has become even stronger as he watches his daughter grow up. But this feeling also inspired him to start a very special project which began when Lotte was just a baby. Frans began filming her for 15 seconds every week until she turned 16 years old.
The result is a fascinating portrayal of childhood condensed into a five minute video.
Watching a child grow and change at this speed is enough to leave any parent breathless. Life is so fleeting and every moment is precious. This video is a special reminder to all parents to enjoy every moment with their children. Because soon enough, they won’t be children anymore.
