Police have raced to the scene of an incident in Bourne town centre.
Four police vehicles were seen at South Street just after 7.30am this morning, August 6.
The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was also called.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services were there for a medical incident.
Inrix reported at the time: “A15 South Street in both directions closed, slow traffic due to medical incident from Abbey Road to South Street.
“Police are dealing with a medical incident near to the pizza and kebab house at the rear of the Nags Head pub.”
Lincolnshire Police have said why officers were called.
A force spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.35am today, August 6, to the A15, South Street, Bourne, after concerns for a man’s safety.
“We worked with our colleagues at the ambulance service in relation to this incident.”
A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service added: “The caller reported a patient who was unconscious and not breathing.
“We sent a responder doctor, a paramedic on a fast response vehicle, a double crewed ambulance and the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.”
