An 18-year-old mother who left her 20-month-old child alone at home while she went away to party for almost six days has been sentenced to nine years in jail. Verphy Kudi confessed to the manslaughter of her daughter, Asiah who starved to death.
Kudi out celebrating her 18th birthday party in December 2019 in London, Coventry, and Solihull 50 miles away from Brighton, where she lived in a ‘supported housing’ block for young families run by the YMCA on behalf of Brighton and Hove City Council, reported The Sun.
