5-Year-Old Girl Dies At Walmart In Tragic 3:30 AM Car Fire, 2 Others Injured

A tragic news story has just been released coming out of Boise, Idaho. Officials sadly report that a child, age 5, has died and 2 others were hurt in an car fire that occurred in a Walmart parking lot in the early morning hours.

“Boise police say the three were sleeping in the car at the time, and investigators believe a portable heater likely caused the fire. The fire broke out just after 3:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Walmart at 8300 Overland Road. Authorities say it was completely engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived,” according to KTVB.

As of right now those who were involved in the car fire haven’t been released. The two people that were injured in the car were taken to a local hospital and are will survive.

Walmart employees say that this particular area of the store’s parking lot is known to have homeless and travelers that sleep overnight in their vehicles. The parking lot has known signs that let people know their vehicles will be towed if left overnight, reported KTVB.
Police arrived on the scene within moments and found the car engulfed in flames. Investigations into the incident are currently taking place.
