Texas summers are known for being hot, with temperatures rising above 90 degrees Fahrenheit from June through September. This heat wave provides the locals with opportunities to find unconventional ways to cool down. In one instance, a family in Texas decided to transform the bed of their red pickup truck into a pool for their kids. To prevent water from flooding out of the cracks, they laid down a tarp and looped a rope through the tarps’ edges and the trucks’ hubcaps.
