A human trafficking sting in Williston over the weekend resulted in one man’s arrest and provided aid to a female victim, authorities said.
Christopher James Watkins, 25, of Minot, is charged with promoting prostitution, a Class C felony, resulting from a Saturday undercover operation involving the Williston Police Department.
Court records filed Tuesday in Williams County say: Law enforcement went to a room at the Missouri Flats Hotel in Williston after responding to an escort ad on Backpage com. The woman in the hotel room told law enforcement Watkins took her from Minot to Williston to work as a prostitute. Read the full story here ▶
