Playboy Mansion Remodel Continues for 4th Year, Still Slow Going

The Playboy Mansion’s facelift is now in its fourth year, with expenses topping the $1 million mark, but to the naked eye … it’s hard to see where all the money is going.

According to the building permits, a lot of work has been done on the property since 2020… e.g. roof renovation, addition of detached residences, interior renovation, rebuilt elevator, new sprinklers, underground generator, new lighting, basement renovation foundation and demolition of spa area to install new.

Tons of permits have been filed and the latest figure we can see for all those renovations is $1.6 million.

The Playboy Mansion renovations have cost just over a million dollars so far

As we reported, the place had $1 million in renovations in 2020, so that’s hardly a big jump in four years.

Repairs began in 2019, when the billionaire Daren Metropoulos started applying for permits to refurbish the world-famous pillow he had bought from Hugh Hefner … WHO died in 2017.

Since then, the mansion and its grounds have been covered with tarps, scaffolding and heavy machinery.

While the scaffolding is finally coming down, it looks like there’s still a lot of work to be done.
