A man has been charged with murder over the death of Omar Shafiq, who was knocked down by a car and left in the road.
Marius Caralean, 25, allegedly hit Mr Shafiq, 48, intentionally before driving off.
The crash happened at 12.30am on Tuesday at Forest Park and Ride in Forest Fields, Nottingham.
Mr Shafiq was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Read the full story here ▶
