Jeremiah Duggar & Hannah Wissmann: Why Are They Rushing to Get Married? (And What Does It Have to Do With Josh?)

Just over three weeks have passed since Jeremiah Duggar and Hannah Wissmann announced their engagement.

But these two are already in the final stages of their wedding planning process.

The date is set; invitations have been sent, and Hannah and Jeremiah are ready to exchange vows in front of their family’s 300 closest friends.

Usually, Duggar’s wedding is a secret, but thanks to some dedicated Internet communicators, we already know when the two will get hooked.

Jeremiah and Hanna’s wedding day is announced on March 26th.

Yes, the couple ties the knot less than three months after the engagement.

Duggar engagements are usually short, but not so short.

If you’ve ever planned a wedding – especially during a pandemic – you know how stressful and time consuming it can be.

And the idea of planning a wedding for more than 300 people in less than three months is probably enough to get a panic attack.

How did Jeremiah and Hannah rush to the altar in this way?

Well, the answer to that question may have something to do with the scandal that eventually toppled the Duggari’s multi-million dollar media empire.

We are talking, of course, about Josh Duggar’s conviction for child pornography.

Clearly, the trial is over, but it will be a long time before Josh disappears from the titles once and for all.

Josh’s verdict is scheduled for April, and many believe Jeremiah and Hannah hope to get on their honeymoon before he returns to the courtroom.

The couple is no doubt aware that the longer they wait, the more they risk being overshadowed by the biggest scandal in the history of reality TV.

Unfortunately, it may be too late for Jeremiah and Hannah to get hooked before the mainstream media refocuses on Josh.

Josh has already complained asks the judge to set aside his judgment.

That, of course, will not happen, but the 33-year-old man will almost certainly be granted a new trial, and it is likely to begin very soon.

Defense attorneys now claim that Josh was framed an employee named Caleb Williams who whistled at his boss to divert attention away from his own sex offenses.

It’s a ridiculous argument based on ridiculously fragile “evidence,” but it should be enough to bring Josh back to the courtroom, where he once again pleads not guilty.

No doubt Jeremiah and Hannah hope this will all happen after they have already said “I”.

Otherwise, they may notice their wedding in the midst of a storm of negative press release.

We don’t know yet where Jeremiah and Hannah are getting married, but since her family is from Nebraska, there’s a good chance the two of them will exchange promises far from the Duggar building in Arkansas.

If so, Jeremiah’s parents may face a difficult decision:

Will Jim Bob and Michelle attend the wedding or will they support their eldest son in his latest trial?

The choice may sound obvious to most sensible people.

But it’s important to remember that Josh’s parents still believe he’s innocent.

And they believe the attempt to frame him is just the latest example of their entire family being targeted.
