Wrestler Brian Kendrick he was just taken away from making his AEW debut on Wednesday … after past comments from a former WWE star about tragedies like 9/11, the Sandy Hook shooting and the Holocaust re-emerged.
Kendrick, 42, had to face it Jon Moxley In a few minutes at Dynamite … but the president of AEW Tony Khan reportedly no longer happening.
“We have learned of the repulsive and offensive comments made by Brian Kendrick in the past,” Khan said in a statement.
“There’s no room in AEW for Brian’s views. We think it’s best that Brian is pulled out of tonight’s card as we gather more information.”
It is unclear when Kendrick will review the comments, but some are at least 10 years old.
There are currently several videos on the Internet about Kendrick casting numerous offensive and offensive conspiracy theories – from believing in an Illuminati-type group behind the 9/11 attacks, Sandy Hook’s shooting was “Bulls ***” to start. civil war, and the Holocaust was “exaggerated.”
It doesn’t end there – Kendrick also seems to believe Michael Jackson stage your own death.
Kendrick did several shifts at WWE over the years … and was just released on February 1st. On the same day, it was announced that Kendrick would make his first appearance with AEW.
Kendrick hasn’t talked yet about whether it was dropped from Wednesday’s event … but a wrestler Cyclist Yuta has already been notified in his place.
