Two AMBER Alerts Released for the Same 4-Year-Old in Two Different States. Police Believe She’s in Extreme Danger

Police believe she was taken by her biological father, Arlie Edward Hetrick III, also known as Trey to those who know him. An AMBER Alert was issued for the 4-year-old girl in West Virginia on the night of Monday, July 22.

However, according to WSET, Gracelynn was last seen on July 6. Authorities believe the young girl is in “extreme danger.”

As KUTV reports, the vehicle authorities believe Trey and Gracelynn are traveling in is a 2001 gold Subaru Forester with the West Virginia plate, 1TH163.

Authorities say that vehicle was last seen on July 17 in Arizona. On July 23, an additional AMBER Alert was issued for the young girl in Arizona.

According to Bart Graves with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the vehicle was reportedly seen driving east down Interstate 40 near Holbrook.

Gracelynn was last seen “wearing summer attire.” She has brown hair, blue eyes, weighs 35 pounds and stands three feet tall.

Trey is a 24-year-old white male, who is five feet, nine inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

It’s unclear why the AMBER Alerts were issued days after Gracelynn was reportedly abducted.

The West Virginia State Police is asking anyone with information regarding Gracelynn’s whereabouts to contact “Sargeant Horne of the West Virginia State Police, via *SP on your cell phone or by dialing 911.”
