Rude Corvette Driver Learns A Harsh Lesson After Not Letting A Truck Merge

There are few things in life more annoying than rude drivers. But, for some reason, people just don’t seem to know how to be kind on the road. All too often, they’re fighting for space and trying to cut people off so they can get ahead in the line of traffic. When people do things like that, it can be hilarious because they go through so much effort just to get one car ahead of where they were or to their destination a few seconds earlier than they would have.

When traffic gets really backed up and then has to merge, it is common for people to butt heads. That happens because people are trying to put themselves first instead of just trying to be a good neighbor and share the road. The video footage that we have for you below illustrates this point perfectly as you’re about to see. But instead of the bad driver getting ahead, instant karma quickly rears its ugly head and makes the rude driver of the Corvette eat crow.

The video was filmed by a driver with a dashboard camera stuck in traffic. In front of the car with the camera, a pickup truck is trying to inch into the right lane. But instead of letting this driver in, the rude driver at the wheel of the Corvette decides to get right up and block the Dodge truck driver from switching lanes.

Although the driver of the truck wants to take the exit, the Corvette isn’t going to budge. It’s a pride thing. It’s about being the tougher man. It’s about being strong. Is it really? Or is it just about being strong-willed and stubborn?

Not only does the Corvette driver block the truck from making it into the exit lane, but the sportscar driver also gives the truck driver the middle finger.

However, the truck driver is not willing to take that abuse sitting down in a move that escalates the road rage by smoking out the sportscar. Because the truck has a massive engine, he revs it, which burns through excessive amounts of fossil fuels, which get spewed right at the red Corvette.

When the smoke dissipates, the man in the car with the dashboard camera breaks out laughing. He feels that the Corvette driver deserved every bit of smoke that blew his way.

The road rage incident was filmed in Tacoma, Washington, on a cloudy day at the end of June. Both cars have Washington license plates.

The man who filmed the road rage uploaded the content to YouTube along with the following description:

“I was driving through traffic near Seattle and noticed a Corvette not wanting to let a Dodge merge over into the lane, so the Dodge pulled beside him. As the Corvette driving was rolling down his window and went to flip him off, the Dodge owner coaled him with so much smoke you couldn’t even see the driver in the car. He did end up letting the truck over.”
