Police were dispatched to a South Charleston home Saturday after a passerby noticed two girls sitting outside holding a horrifying sign.
Police say they found an 11-year-old and a 1-year-old standing outside their home on Summers Avenue, holding a sign asking for help.
The 11-year-old told police that her mother, Schalinda Ball, left her home alone for four hours, watching her baby sister. The young girl told police she did not have a phone to call for help. Read the full story here ▶
